User Agreement

This User Agreement (“Agreement”) outlines the legally binding terms and conditions for your use of the services offered by shardnest.com (the “Platform”), a marketplace for digital in-game items for Dota 2. By accessing or using the Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Agreement.

1. Eligibility and Account Registration

The Platform is intended for individuals aged 18 years or older (or the age of majority in their jurisdiction). If you are under this age, you may only use the Platform with the consent of a parent or legal guardian. When registering an account, you agree to provide accurate and complete information and to keep your details current at all times.

2. Nature of the Services and Digital Goods

All goods sold on the Platform are virtual Dota 2 items delivered through the official Steam trade system. These items have no intrinsic real-world value and confer no rights outside of the game environment. No physical shipment of goods occurs.

3. Payment and Transactions

Payments are processed securely through authorised third-party payment providers. By completing a purchase, you authorise our partners to charge your selected payment method for the total amount, including any applicable taxes or fees. Payment must be made in full prior to item delivery. Unauthorised chargebacks or payment disputes may result in account suspension or termination.

4. Transfer and Delivery of Items

Digital items are transferred to the Steam account linked to your order. You are solely responsible for providing the correct Steam Trade URL or Steam ID and ensuring that your account can receive items. The Platform is not liable for losses or delivery issues caused by inaccurate or outdated information provided by you.

5. Return and Refund Policy

Since all products sold are digital goods, refunds are only granted in limited situations as described in our Return & Refund Guidelines. Generally, once a digital item has been delivered or used, it is not eligible for return or refund. We strongly encourage users to review the refund policy before purchasing.

6. User Conduct

You agree to use the Platform responsibly and in compliance with applicable laws. Activities such as fraud, harassment, exploitation of vulnerabilities, or infringement of third-party rights are strictly prohibited. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account involved in prohibited conduct or violation of this Agreement.

7. Intellectual Property

The Platform and all related content, including design, trademarks, and logos, are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Platform without prior written consent.

8. Service Fee

shardnest.com retains a 2 % service fee on the gross amount of each transaction conducted through the Platform. This fee is automatically deducted from the proceeds of each sale at the time of transaction and is non-refundable. The service fee compensates the Platform for providing and maintaining marketplace services. We may adjust the fee rate periodically; any change will be communicated in advance via the Platform.

9. Modifications to This Agreement

We may update or revise this Agreement at any time. If significant changes are made, we will notify users through the Platform or via email. Continued use of the Platform after such changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Agreement.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, shardnest.com and its owners, officers, and employees shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Platform. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the transaction giving rise to that claim.

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where shardnest.com is legally established, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from or related to the Platform shall be resolved through the competent courts of that jurisdiction, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
